Tina Toon sings about her first love

Childstar Tina Toon, famous for her neck moves and Bolo-Bolo song, has grown into a teenager eager to share a romantic love story.

The 17-year-old sings about her first love experience in her single Cinta Pertamaku (My first love).

“When I write songs it’s based more on personal experience. This [single] is the story of my first love. I think everyone has had one,” Tina said as quoted by kompas.com Monday.

Tina just finished shooting the video clip for her single in Sentul City, Bogor.

“The concept is different from previous video clips. Back then, my music was energetic, I was jumping around. Now, it’s more mellow, because the theme itself is about love,” she said.

Tina hopes her reputation as a child singer will grow into that of a more mature artist. She said she used to hate high heels, but wears them now to show people she has grown up.

“I want to reaffirm that Tina Toon has grown up. I want to look feminine.” — JP
